• About Me:

• Jeanette is the founder and president of KidSpace Interiors, located in Lakewood Ranch, Florida where she provides commercial and residential design for children's spaces. Before opening KidSpace, Jeanette worked for architectural firms in Atlanta, GA and Sarasota, FL where she was part of award winning design teams. As a professional member of ASID, an NCIDQ Certificate holder and a licensed designer in Florida, she has worked in many segments of the interior design industry. Project areas include hospitality, corporate, medical, retail, residential and kitchen design. Jeanette holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Interior Environment from Brigham Young University. As a mother of six, stepmother of five and grandmother of eleven (and counting), she has plenty of experience with children. Her in-depth understanding of parent's needs and children's wants strengthens her abilities in designing spaces for children.

• Drawing from her experience hiring, training and mentoring new employees, Jeanette has recently authored her first book entitled From Interior Design Intern to Employee: How to Be a Keeper (With Tips from Those Who Hire). Jeanette designs bedroom furniture for a high-end children's furniture company located in Santa Ana, California.
