    What to cook???

I have my youngest son and his 2 boys 5 and 7 living with us. I ask everyone in the morning what to prepare for dinner and I always get "whatever". When dinner is actually cooked my 7 year old grandson always tells me he doesn't like it and I have been preparing him something else entirely. Now his brother who is 5 is doing the same thing. I have had it!!! I have discussed the situation with my husband and my son and expressed to them that I cannot cook 3 different meals every night. What would you do?? Sometimes when they are done with what I made them to eat then they eat what I cooked to begin with. I told my son and husband that if they were hungry they would eat what is served but they think it is cruel not to make them what they want. I asked my grandsonsthe night before what they wanted the next day and they said home made pizza, so I made it and both refused to eat at dinner. I want to tell them that they eat what they like at dinner (I always make sides) or they don't get dessert or anything else that evening and even if they don't want to eat they must sit at the dinner table until everyone else is finished.

Do you think that is cruel??

    I need advice
